As a non-runner & with just four 5k training runs during the 5 weeks leading up to this event I have to admit I wasn't looking forward to my leg of the course. But in the spirit of fun, & the fact that we had pulled together a full team, I had no choice but to go through with the challenge.
I had a blast!
Not the fastest time in the field but I managed to do better than I had anticipated. I am sure my Pilates Strength & conditioning played a critical factor in my performance.
